Constance Graduates 2000

I've known Constance since she was 9 years old and a camper in my dorm at the Hermann Sons Youth Camp. I know we're not supposed to have favorites, but Constance was definitely my favorite camper that session at camp. We've stayed in touch by writing, phone calls and email (and a few precious face-to-face visits!) since that time and now she's gone and graduated from college! How old am *I*?!?! ;)

Constance graduated in December 2000 from Sam Houston State University, Magna Cum Laude, with a degree in Education. I'm so proud of her that I could bust. Here are some photos from the weekend Lane and I went to Huntsville to see her get her diploma.

Reunited!

Constance's brother, Curtis, and her parents, Doug and Betty.
(I'm told it's a small miracle that I caught Curtis on film!)

This is kind of like a before and after shot. Back in the "old days", Constance was shorter than I was (something we were joking about in the photo on the left), but sometime after she was 9 (I'm thinking only a year or two), she surpassed me to become the incredibly tall and beautiful woman you see standing next to me in the photo on the right.
