J9, Sondra, me and Cara, getting together to have an early Christmas at Sondra's. We had a great evening, full of laughter and wine and presents! Kearson and Lane were there too, but OF COURSE we didn't get any photos of them! :) (Kearson makes fun of us for all the pictures we take, but he's just a PHOTO POOP and we ignore him!) (ps. I love my hair this way. I saw something like it on La Femme Nikita and decided that my hair was long enough to do it!)
Lane and I were on our way to the company holiday party when we put the camera on a bookcase to snap a shot of the two of us. Not the BEST quality, but we do what we can!
A mostly full-length of me in my super dress. I got this in Amsterdam in 2000 when Lane and I went to Europe. It wads up small and I had it all tiny in my suitcase to bring it home. I love it because it has GREAT BOOB SUPPORT, and you know how I love that little extra OOMPH for the boobage. (Later, I heard that several folks at the party "couldn't quit looking at [my] breasts" and I was JUST FINE with that. A girl doesn't wear a dress like this so her chest will be IGNORED, you know!!)
A nice close-up of me. I did my eye-makeup really dark that night, to be totally different than how I normally wear it, and it turned out very dramatic with the black dress and hair pulled back. The coat I'm wearing is this beautiful cranberry coat I got in Pittsburgh at a thrift store for - brace yourself - THIRTEEN DOLLARS!!! And yes, that IS mink it's lined with. I LOVE this coat. I love it MORE because it was a STEAL!! Girls up north have it GREAT because old ladies are always giving away their old vintage coats and they have this HUGE selection at the stores that we southern grrrls just don't have! (Of couse, last week, the third week in January, it was almost 80 degrees here, so I think we have some good trade-offs, right?!?)
Later that night, after the company party, we had another party to attend, so I threw on other clothes and OFF WE WENT! This is me at Sondra's, waiting for her to change clothes. Can you see the little holly I pained on the side of my eye? I do that every Christmas and I think it's very festive. Sometimes I use jewels to accent the holly berries, as I've done here. I did some for Sondra and J9 at a dinner party at Jeff's, but I haven't scanned in the photos from J9 yet, so you'll have to wait to see those! Sorry!

OK, so Sondra is going to KICK MY ASS for putting this photo up, but I HAD TO. We realized after we were leaving the second party that we'd taken NO PHOTOS of us together, so we posed really quickly on the way to the car. Sondra said "hang on, hang on, I have to get ready", and she turned away from the camera and shoved a piece of chocolate in her teeth and J9 and I saw what she was doing and were LAUGHING OUR BUTTS OFF and she smiled at the camera like a hillbilly or something! It was SO FUNNY. She may make me take it down though, so ENJOY IT WHILE YOU CAN!
A follow-up shot to the infamous "chocolate teeth" photo. You can see that Sondra STILL has the chocolate in her mouth, only this time she's just not smiling. Don't you LOVE J9's dress? I'm pretty sure it was Sondra's, and she gave it to J9 to wear, and isn't it COOL?!?! I was too cold to stay in my booby dress any longer, even with the coat, so I was in jeans and a sweater!
