Me, My Tattoo, My Past
| This is one of my uber-cool tattoos. She's a mermaid, for those of you who can't tell. I have her on my right hip, right where I'd hit a tambourine (if I had one). She's about the size of a standard letter-sized envelope. The Chinese symbol is from the 51st casting of the I Ching....The sunflower symbol in her hair is because I used to go by Sunflower online, and the aries symbol also in her hair is for Lane, who went by Aries. |

This is photo of me taken in 1996 or 1997. I got that antique jacket, with real mink trim, in a thrift shop for $15 when I lived in Pittsburgh. You can find the best coats at Goodwill in the northern states because it gets cold enough that you actually NEED coats. I have several that I bought up there and still wear.
This is me as a child. Wasn't I cute? ALMOST as cute as Derek as a child, but not quite. I had more freckles anyway, and we all know that's what really matters. Also note the blonde hair which is my natural color. It remains to be seen if Lila will end up with blonde hair too. We'll find out soon!
This was me at Halloween in 1996, when I developed a SEVERE attitude problem in NYC as Tank Girl. It was kind of a drag that no one knew who I was supposed to be. I should have stuck with attending comic conventions dressed that way, but I had fun, so who cares. :) This was probably the last time my hair was fully blonde in my adult life. I'm pretty sure I went home and started dying it red. :)
