THE SWARM - this time it's BEES!   You would think that after our termite disaster, Lane and I would have paid our "bug dues". But NO. We were to have BEES. Actually, we've had the bees for a few years now, but they never bothered us or our dogs and we didn't bother them. HOWEVER, having Lila mobile now changes everything, and we had to get rid of them. After fruitless searching to get someone to remove them humanely, we ended up paying an exterminator to come out and kill them all. :( Here are some photos.   The bees were under a manhole cover in the corner of our yard. What you are looking at is the overturned cover and in the hole itself. The pest man said that he removed close to 35 pounds of honey from the hole.
