To translate: I'm pregnant! :)
You remember those carnaval photos? Well, it turns out that I'm one week pregnant in those photos - which makes me love them more, because my abs may never look that good again, no matter WHAT Sarah Jessica Parker looks like after SHE gave birth!As of today (roughly the first of March), I am four weeks pregnant and will be due sometime in late October/early November (personally, I'm hoping for a Halloween baby). This is a very much planned for baby, and Lane and I couldn't be happier.
As time goes by, we'll be posting time-lapse animated photos of my growing belly, so stay tuned. I figure there won't be much to see for months to come, so that's a bit down the road. We already have an appointment with the birthing center (no hospitals for me, thank you anyway!) to hear the baby's heartbeat in late March, which should be really exciting. Sometime in late June, I'll have a sonagram to see if we're having a boy or a girl, and I'll let you know (we're not choosing to be surprised as some parents do). We'll have a name picked by then, too, so we can all start getting to know the new addition.
