Happenings in the Great Outdoors - July 2004   Pitter and Grits love to spend time outside - OK, so maybe GRITS loves to spend time outside - but nevertheless, here they are, enjoying some time in the sun. :) They've been running after the ball, so they're extra tongue-y. BONUS!   Pitter and Grits in a nice little "side by side" photo. I'm going to get these two prints framed some day. I think they look so cool. :) PS. yes, our grass is WAY LONG.   Pitter runs after a toy (see the splash) at a local dog park. He swam so much that day, I thought he was going to konk out in the water while swimming!! He slept the whole way home (and the next day, and the next).   Me and the boys. :) Can you tell this is "post dog park"? I don't know what Pumpkin's excuse is, though - he didn't go with us! (Please excuse my VERY ATTRACTIVE yellow housedress. :) It's way comfy though, perfect for relaxing after a hot day outside!)   In our backyard the other day, two juvenile blue herons happened to be hanging out.
