Last week, my old boss Dennis called me out of the blue to ask if I wanted to go flying with him. YA THINK?!? Of course I did, so he drove us to Georgetown to rent a plane and we went UP IN THE SKY for an hour. It was so way cool. We flew over Austin, and I got to see where Lane and I lived, and where J9 lives and several things. Here are a few of the photos for you to enjoy! (I did take photos of our neighborhoods, but I don't want to put those online - that's none of anyone's business where we live and it's really only interesting to those who know the "lay of the land", which most of you will not!)

Dennis and me, as taken by me with the camera held out at arm's length. I got to wear a headset and everything!! How cool am I?!?!

Dennis, keeping us safe and sound in the air!

Can you see the 360 bridge in Austin? It's right over the bend in the river. Look closely!

Did I mention that in early November I got to go SAILING?!? Jeff has a boat, and he invited Sondra and me to go. He's going to teach us how to sail!! Anyway, from the air I could recognize where his dock is on the lake. I took several photos to show him, and this is one of them! He tells me that of the three white "T's" of the docks, his is the middle one, and his is the fourth boat from the left on the left side of that center "T".

We land safely!! Yay! I had the best time. Next time, we'll remember to take a photo of us on the ground in front of the plane. :)
