J9 Birthday on the Boat July, 2006
J9 celebrated her bday this year with a small gathering on a boat at Lake Buchannan again this year - as she did in 2003 when I was pregnant with Lila. We had a great time - made more so because J9 herself was pregnant this trip. We ended up having to cut the trip short because of a severe rainstorm that sent us FLEEING the water as fast as we could go, but while we were out, we had a great time. The water was perfect and the wind was up and the company was fine. I hope you enjoy these photos.

Several of me, enjoying the wind and the water. I decided to mix things up a little and take a different hat this trip than the one I'd been wearing all summer long (my very favorite hat) - this one matched the green in my swimsuit and was fabulous to boot! In the photo without the hat, you can see how my hair is growing out.

Jennifer was fantastic and came despite having a cast on her foot. Only Jennifer could look this good while being all incapacitated. I LOVE her hat, don't you??
