I Shave My Head AGAIN - 2006 - a General Hair Page
So a long time ago, I shaved my head. After that, I grew it out, colored it blue, red, blonde, brown and probably every shade in-between. It had gotten pretty long in 2005 and then I cut it off and dyed it platinum blonde. Over the coming months, I cut it and cut it again, knowing that, ultimately, I wanted to shave it off ONE LAST TIME, before I got too old to pull it off.
Sooooooooo, one night, pumped up by a great evening out with Sondra, I came home and took the clippers to my hair. Here are the results.
A "before and after" of my hair. I know it doesn't look quite as long as it really is on the sides in the "before" shot, because I have it slicked back. But trust me, there were at least two inches of hair there.
I wanted to do a mohawk as my first leap in the shaving, because I've never had one, and I thought it would be interesting to do one. HOWEVER, it was not the amazing look I was going for, so I quickly just shaved away.
A side view of the sad mohawk - I think I needed to have more gel or something in it to really get it to be effective. Or longer in back. I don't know. Whatever. I got over it quickly!
And now I am shaved. And happy!

OK, now, OBVIOUSLY this is another day, another haircut. This was taken in early July, which just goes to show you, whether you suffer from a bad haircut or have lost your hair to an illness, your hair GROWS BACK faster than you would ever think. I mean, I am already well on my way to BANGS here, so you have to know that it's all going to work out, just wait a few months.
I am loving this little flip. I only did it for a few days, because it's CRAZY labor intensive for someone who has BONE STRAIGHT hair like I do, but it was really cute while it lasted!
And here we are only a week ago, with bangs and two inches of hair growing on my neck. I've also got a nice blonde streak in the front that I am SO LOVING. I'm headed toward a certain haircut (I'll debut it around the holidays), and I'll be blonde for a while, but this is my Hair Thus Far! Thanks for checking in!
