Dressing up in December 2004!
J9 took me out for an evening of drinks and dining at the Four Seasons for my (late) birthday. We got all gussied up and had the best time. It was very low-key but swanky and so nice. Just getting out of the house in heels is a treat, let alone all the wonderful food. I had a raspberry mojito (fresh raspberries, limes, mint & raw sugar, havana club rum, crème de mure & topped with soda - or so I found online) that was AMAZING - actually I think I had two - it was the first time I'd had one and I can highly recommend them. We also had some amazing goat cheese and duck quesadillas and delicious pot stickers (definitely not your typical bar hors d'oeuvres fare). It was a great late birthday!

Mom and I went to the ballet to see the Nutcracker. We considered taking Lila, but we think it'll still be another few years before she's old enough to go.
Don't let it bother you that I'm wearing the exact same outfit that I was wearing when I went out with J9. :) It wasn't the same night (actually weeks apart) and a girl's gotta wear what she's got that FITS, right?!
