Lane and I got slipcovers! J9 came over and helped me strip off OLD padding and put on NEW padding (I call it the "big butt" foam, as it holds up under BIG BUTTS) and let me tell you that never was there a better friend than will help you pull out the padding from a 20 year old sofa (no kidding, this was the sofa in my house when I grew up!). I LOVE J9!! (PS the second photo is closer to the real color. NO IDEA why one came out a different color than the other. The mysteries of the digital camera!)
Lane and I like to go to Zilker Park in Austin over the holidays and see the giant tree made of lights. This year we took Pitter and Grits. This is us in front of the tree. Actually, this was taken on our 4 year wedding anniversary! Happy anniversary to us! (and yes, that IS a fur collar on my coat, but it's my mom's coat from the 70's and it's not like I bought it! I LOVE THIS COAT!)
