This section of my site was inspired by the poetry of Carl Sandburg. I hadn't been exposed to his work much in my life. I'd read "Fog", which I think is required reading for all high school students, but nothing else. Boy, was I missing out!! I love his poetry!

FOG

The fog comes
on little cat feet.
It sits looking
Over harbor and city
on silent haunches
and then moves on.
