Puppies & Pets!
Pitter and Grits are our Boston Terrier dogs. In this photo Pitter is 4 and Grits is 3 - yes, we know Grits is larger; it just worked out that way. :) Pitter is crazy for balls and Grits is crazy for squirrels. They both love to give kisses. If you want to learn more about them, you can go to their pages: Pitter, Grits.
Pumpkin and Edie (pronounced EE-dee) are our cats. We had another cat, Lava, but he died several years ago. (We still miss him.) Pumpkin is 3 and Edie is almost 14. Edie was my first pet after I moved out of my parent's house, and we have a lot of history. Pumpkin was our "oh, goodness, we have to get another orange cat now that Lava died because I can't stop crying" addition. He's actually a dog. We got him right around the time we got Grits, and he's grown up thinking that he's a Boston Terrier. We don't argue with him. He seems to be pretty happy that way. If you want to learn more about them, you can go to their pages. Update! 3/16/05 - Edie has sadly passed away and we (gladly) have a new kitty, Mimsy. See more info on the intro page!
This is Xiang (we pronounce it Chang, even though we know now that it's WRONG). It means "to soar" in Chinese. We've had him for about 2 years. I have a love/hate relationship with Xiang. Mostly, I love him, but sometimes he starts SCREAMING to the birds that live in our carport and it's so loud and so far from melodious that I can't stand it! Fortunately, he doesn't do that much except during the winter when he can't go outside and talk to them personally, so I just take deep breaths and deal with it. We used to have another bird, Mr. Daisy, but she died. She doesn't have his own page, but you'll see her in photos with Xiang in HIS section.
