My Family
I have a great family. We used to be mostly in Texas, but now we're spread out to Colorado, New Mexico and even to China. However, as of this writing, January 2004, my immediate family is right close by, which is great, especially now that Lila has been born. I hope not to leave her with a non-family babysitter until she's much, much older.
Most of my immediate family is pictured above in our Christmas 2003 photo. There's me; Whitney, my sister-in-law; Daddy; Mom; Loyd, my brother (holding Lila, my daughter); and Lane, my husband of almost 6 years. Robin, my sister, who isn't pictured here, wasn't able to join us this Christmas.
My family enjoys reading almost above all things. We exchange quite a few books, especially first editions (preferably signed), around Christmas. Mom and I like to go to the movies together while Daddy watches Lila. Loyd hosts a DnD game once a month where Lane plays. Whitney and I played also prior to Lila's birth, but now we get together with the baby while the rest of the group plays.
